Rob Bowden is a composer, songwriter, and storyteller from the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia. A member of the University of Georgia’s Dancz Center for New Music, Rob writes with an intent to challenge himself as a composer, the performers of his works, and the state of contemporary classical music. His compositions often feature rhythmic energy, dark sonorities and themes, and a sense of forward motion. Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in music composition, Rob plans to continue his education through graduate school with hopes of teaching composition and/or music theory at the collegiate level.
